The Face of Progress

That's right! There are new walls!!! They have started building in our house. We have some forward momentum here - YAY! Progress!!!

So far, most of the progress is on the second floor. It is no longer necessary to explain where the walls are going to be because they are there. While there is still some destruction to be done, we are finally moving in the right direction.

Here are pictures of the new framing in our master bedroom. The first two pictures show the new framing along the roof. The third and fourth pictures show the new tray ceiling in the master bedroom. We are very happy with the height - it is much better than we anticipated.

Next we have the new common bath on the second floor and its rounded wall. This bathroom will be the keystone to our moving back into our house - when it is up and running, Jeremy and Meredith can finally be rid of us! :)


Next door to the bath is a modified bedroom. While small, it will have great window lines and a very nice view of the Blue Hills in the winter.

Finally, the last shots depict progress through destruction. The first shot shows the demolition of the ceiling where the new staircase to the attic will be. And the final shot shows the staircase in production.
