We have a building permit and are underway. The plaster and the dust are flying. Our contractors did their best to contain some of the carnage but a thin layer of fine white dust in blanketing everything in the house.
The guys are doing a great job in making up for lost time. They have already demolished the entire finished attic as well as one whole bedroom. At this rate, demo should be done by the end of next week.
The electrician is also in the building and has already run a significant amount of new wire as well as installed new exterior lighting and a new 200 amp service. We can see the light! HA!
We are so happy to be started and look forward to keeping you up to date with the work. And have no fear - there will be plenty more strife leading to comical glimpses into the chaos that has become our life!
