Going...going...

If you look closely, you will notice the dumpster that is filled with, well, our house. And this is dumpster number two believe it or not!

So, we are getting ever closer to those magic words: GONE!!!

Here are a few glimpses of what is going on in Chez Money Pit:

1.) Here is the master bedroom of the new house. It used to be pink and that really isn't our color.





2.) Here is the former and future master bathroom. Look deep. Can you see it?



3.) This is a closet that we found buried in the wall of the former common bathroom. Our first hidden passage. No hidden cash though...



4.) This is where our former back sun porch used to be. Notice the gaping hole in the side of the house. Now we can save money on air conditioning.



So we are moving right along. Over the next few days, the staircases will be removed, holes will be cut into the house for new windows and doors and the front porch will be torn off for replacement. We are now even considering ripping down the walls that were previously supposed to remain untouched so we can insulate and install traditional dry wall.

Insanity has been achieved! And we are only at step one. Stay tuned!
