Just a quick post tonight.
The demolition started today. Our contractor began working on areas that do not require a permit since the building inspector is still giving us heartburn.
And then the building department ordered a stop work since there was no permit.
We know this doesn't make sense. We know it isn't fair.
And we know we have to do what the building inspector says or he will drag us through the basement of Hell.
So, we got 1 day of work in and are now back to waiting.
It was fun while it lasted.

ReplyDeleteI think all building inspectors were picked last in gym class and are now hell-bent on proving to everyone that they are "THE MAN!"
